Altoona is a city in Blair County, Pennsylvania. We are located in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains. Altoona is a city of friendly folks of which many have worked hard in the railroad industry which has driven this community for many years. Altoona is home to the "Horseshoe Curve", the Railroad Museum, Altoona Curve baseball and many other interesting and beautiful landmarks.
Life Church (Abundant Life Assembly of God) was started nearly fourteen years ago have just moved into our new facility located at 231 Howard Avenue (just 2 blocks from the Altoona Regional Hospital).
We are a growing church with a welcoming congregation. We have exciting services with contemporary worship and a pastor that brings the Word to life and presents the gospel in a relevant and life changing style. Jimmy Morgan, an oyster fisherman from Louisiana, had his house and boat destroyed by Katrina in 2005. Hundreds of church groups, MAPS teams, Convoy of Hope teams and volunteers headed to the region to help families like the Morgans get back on their feet.
